Currently, the translation of a waypoint in the turn instructions is “escale”. I just received some user feedback that “etape” or maybe “point intermédiaire” would be better suited.
What do you think?
Sure, the native speaker must decide and just change this in our spreadsheet. Currently there were no edit-wars so I expect that the last change is also the best translation

Yes I think you are right, our current translation isn’t wrong. But maybe a native speaker might comment on this as well ? Maybe there are still ways to improve it .

“étape” is definitely better, as “escale” is usually used only when traveling by plane or boat. “point intermédiaire” would also work, but that’s much longer and not clearer.
