Regarding Delays at Traffic signals, Motor Junction and Stop signs

Hi Everyone,

Could someone please explain me how Graph Hopper is handling the delays if the vehicle is approaching “Crossings”, “Stop Sign” or at the “Traffic Signals” etc., Is it having any impact on total time to reach the destination? Because in the cities, it would have greater impact on the travel time.

I know that Google is using real-time data nowadays but how the same scenario is handled back then?

Traffic signals etc are currently not considered: Interpret traffic lights · Issue #75 · graphhopper/graphhopper · GitHub

Although it might improve the ETA it would lead to clumsy routes (with zigzags).

Instead we determine urban areas (see here) and conditionally change speed for this.
