Would it be possible to add an option to avoid railroad crossings while driving so that we don’t have to worry about running into a train?
As someone who lives near a bunch of railroad crossings it would be much appreciated.
Yes, you can use the crossing encoded value:
The link shows how to exclude these road segments completely. Of course, I would not recommend this, but it makes the change obvious :). Instead I recommend a small value like 0.05 instead of 0, so that it will avoid it but not at all costs.
