POI to a path distance

Hi all,

I’m new to GH. This seems a awesome community. My question is this. I need to get the shortest distance from a POI (point of interest) to a specific path (route). Has that been already implemented on GH using java low level API? Eagerly looking for any suggestions for implementation if not.
