No more scale on the new map?

Hello,

Thanks very much for GH in general, the frequent improvements and now the new maps! There’s really a LOT of extra info, highly appreciated! However, it does not show the (imho very useful) bar scale anymore which told us that a certain distance on screen equals e.g. 250 metres in reality. Can that be done somehow (not in the code, but while viewing online maps like Graphhopper Maps )?

Yes, this is useful and we will do this at some point - see scale widget for distance and current location widget on map · Issue #22 · graphhopper/graphhopper-maps · GitHub

Please note that the new maps is an entire new implementation and we did not drop the feature but decided to release maps already in its current state without it :slight_smile:
