Import crash for Asia

I am running a import separately for Asia pbf file. I have a RAM of 16 GB every time its crashing.
Any suggestions to be done in config my config file attached.
tried with datareader.dataaccess: MMAP and without

Command used

java -Xmx16G -D"dw.graphhopper.datareader.file=asia-latest.osm.pbf" -jar graphhopper*.jar import config.yml

What is the error?

If you’re getting OOM errors or heap space errors, you may need a lot more than you think. I was doing South Korea, a relatively small country, and I needed 14GB.

If you are using the latest version 9.0 please ensure to use the example config as a start and do not omit the car.json custom model.

car.json custom model in 9.0 will that help in optimization?

Any rough idea how long will it take to complete for Asia

I tried freeing up space in the machine there is a good progress but its on pause for almost 18hrs with below log.
