We are running graphhopper in production servers with
compile group: ‘com.graphhopper’, name: ‘graphhopper-api’, version: ‘0.12-SNAPSHOT’
We are running the API with contraction heirarchy enabled with weighting as shortest. The road network includes the complete India road network in shape file format.
The problem we are facing is for the data points which are nearby few kilometers, the route API is giving results in < 100ms.
But when we give the points, even with two points, which are like 2000 Kms away, the API takes time around 6-7 seconds.
