Does GraphHopper-Master from GitHub Support Route Optimization

I would like to know whether the master source code from Github allows route optimizations when I specify multiple waypoints for route computation.

How do I set optimization to be enabled?

Now my application is rather simple and runs as a program (compute for route and terminates) as oppose to a service.
