Dear Graphhopper users and developers,
is it possible to calculate directions based on historic maps data, say from August 19th 2023? I am trying to identify spots where bicycle infrastructure or conditions have been improved recently.

You can set up graphhopper by importing historic openstreetmap data. See for instance Stackoverflow thread for downloading historic data .
I.e. you could download the full historic data of osm and extract point in spacetime with the “osmium” tool as pbf and import into GH.
Nice, thank you @OlafFlebbeBosch. Didn’t know this. I would have used the geofabrik extracts as they keep older extracts too: Geofabrik Download Server (click on ‘raw directory index’). But only annually for the 1st January.
