Why does the sample app of Graphhopper need separate downloads for the map and for the graph? Can’t Graphhopper extract the graph from the map file?
Mapsforge map file format does not contain routing data.
So need separate routing graphs to perform the routing.
Okay. Will this change in the future? Are there any plans to add routing data to mapsforge map files?
There was routing in Mapsforge prototypes, now focus is more on map rendering.
