I am using a fork made for railways with great success in getting route maps based on where the passenger trains actually go. I am having great difficulty extending that to include ferry ways and so easily find the delightful ferry routes that are invariably there, I don’t know if that’s because it’s coded in the map as route=ferry, not just ferry or ferry=type of ferry. I hacked the accept method and it it returns ACCEPT, and prints proof of execution, but that didnt seem to help.
i just twigged each and everyone of these ferry routes is individually mapped. I was expecting for instance everything coming out of stockholm to be using a sea lane and then diverge. I can do this with overpass obviously, well just dump all ferry ways into a table with the end points indexed…
