I am testing jsprit on Solomon instances. The jsprit solutions often use more vehicles than the best known solutions. The jsprit document says jsprit algorithm is based on Schrimpf et al. (2000) and Pisinger and Ropke (2007). But Pisinger and Ropke (2007) can usually obtain the best number of vehicles for Solomon instances. So I wonder why jsprit is not able to do so if it implements a similar algorithm.
